I make films that honor messy humans, confront broken systems, and reshape who gets to be seen and heard. I'm also the founder of Foxy Film Collective which is a community-driven filmmaking collective built to support, mentor, and champion women and nonbinary filmmakers at every stage of their creative lives. We believe great films are made through care, collaboration, and access- not gatekeeping.
Megean M Sanchez

Megean M. Sanchez is a indigenous mexican/taiwanese filmmaker and producer whose work spans narrative, experimental, and independent film. Her storytelling is emotionally grounded and often surreal, exploring themes of identity, grief, and power through intimate character-driven work.
She has directed The Quiet Crowd and STAY, and produced projects including with A&E, and 90 Day Fiance, including narrative films like Sew Into You, Egg the Movie, The Wayfarer, and Tavern Brawl. She also served as editor on One Tail at a Time, bringing a collaborative, story-first approach to both creative and production leadership.
